Wildlife dentistry is a highly specialised and often overlooked field. Many animals instinctively hide signs of pain, allowing dental disease to go undetected and potentially impact their survival. Through WildeDental, participants gain practical skills to assess, diagnose, and support dental health, contributing directly to animal welfare and conservation efforts. What sets this program apart is its collaborative, multidisciplinary approach. Missions are often joined by veterinary specialists – including ophthalmologists, cardiologists, internists, and more, who work together to deliver comprehensive health assessments for each animal.
