10 Days of Wildlife encounters and immersive conservation
The journey begins in Quito, the cultural and vibrant heart of Ecuador, where history and traditions intertwine to tell the story of this extraordinary country. From here, we venture into the heart of the Ecuadorian Amazon, crossing unique landscapes and approaching the ancestral culture of an indigenous community, who for centuries have been guardians of the forest and live in deep harmony with its wildlife.
The mission offers direct engagement with the work of Amazoonico Wildlife Rescue Centre, Ecuador’s largest centre for the rehabilitation of wild animals that are victims of illegal trafficking. Taking part in this journey means actively supporting conservation programs that are essential for the protection of Amazonian biodiversity. At the same time, the experience lets you live alongside and support Amazonian communities, contributing to sustainability projects within the forest.
