7 Day – Hands-on Wildlife Conservation
Immerse yourself in a hands-on wildlife conservation programme focused on protecting Africa’s most threatened species. Assist the vet with critical tasks such as rhino dehorning, satellite tagging, predator collaring, game capture, and elephant translocation.
Connect with local communities by visiting schools, supporting education, exploring Zulu heritage or helping develop educational conservation initiatives. Join a hippo snare boat patrol to help protect aquatic wildlife and accompany anti-poaching rangers and their K-9 units on patrols to detect snares and prevent illegal hunting. Visit the Snake Pharm research centre to learn about life-saving anti-venom production and meet remarkable snake species.
