7 Days – Marine conservation experience
Embark on an immersive marine conservation experience along South Africa’s spectacular coastline, where you’ll work alongside professional marine biologists, conservationists, and wildlife rehabilitation specialists on genuine research and conservation initiatives.
Assist with the rehabilitation and care of endangered African penguins, support data collection during shark and whale boat operations, and contribute to ongoing marine research projects that help protect some of the region’s most iconic marine species. Participate in beach clean-ups, environmental monitoring, and fishing line recycling initiatives that directly reduce threats to coastal ecosystems, while gaining valuable insight through expert-led talks on shark biology, marine mammals, penguin conservation, and marine ecology.
