Day 1
Arrive in Windhoek, Namibia’s vibrant capital, and kick off your adventure with a delicious welcome dinner. Enjoy local flavors, meet fellow travelers and relax.
Day 2 - 4
Travel to the stunning Nyae Nyae Conservancy and join San Bushman Pangolin guardians and researchers to track and protect pangolins. Assist with camera trapping and VHF telemetry as you learn about conservation efforts.
Start with a sunrise hike, learning spoor tracking and bush skills. Explore medicinal plants, visit the local community for healing dances and a traditional lunch, then wrap up with a scenic Baobab trail walk and sundowners.
Day 5
Arrive at the Rhino Momma Project and meet the passionate conservation teams behind the rhino breeding program. Get hands-on with vital veterinary work, directly contributing to protecting these majestic creatures from poaching.
Day 6
Get hands-on with vital veterinary work, directly contributing to protecting these majestic creatures from poaching. This includes rhino dehorning, collaring, and tagging for GPS monitoring to ensure their safety and track their movements in the wild.
Day 7
Explore the iconic Etosha National Park, hunting for the Big 4 amidst vast salt pans
Day 8
Transfer to the Wildlife Orphan Care Farm Stay, where you’ll meet the resident animals and enjoy a delicious home-cooked dinner. Relax with sundowners as you watch the sunset over the property, soaking in the serene beauty of the surroundings.
Day 9
Enjoy a last breakfast in beautiful Namibia before departing back to the airport

- Get ready for an unforgettable wildlife adventure where you’ll dive into hands-on conservation work alongside a qualified wildlife vet and experienced game management team. Join in on exciting sterilization and vaccine clinics, directly helping both wildlife and domestic animals thrive while contributing to conservation efforts. Experience thrilling field operations with rhinos, including activities like dehorning, DNA sampling, and tagging/collaring. Get hands-on with rhino dehorning/collaring and help with rabies research samples. Receive fantastic background knowledge on wildlife veterinary practices
Day 5
Explore the iconic Etosha National Park, hunting for the Big 4 amidst vast salt pans
Day 6
Head back to Windhoek and unwind in the capital. Enjoy a walk around the city to see the history and sights
Day 7
Assist the NAWA team with another day of vaccines, wellness checks and emergencies
Head off to a wildlife orphan farm stay to meet the residents
Day 8
Enjoy a last breakfast with a beautiful view. Transfer back to Windhoek for departure

- Veterinary Mission - 10 Days
- Open To Anyone Studying or Qualified in Animal Care or Conservation
- Embark on an exciting journey to Namibia, where you’ll have the unique opportunity to join a conservation trip focused on two of the most trafficked animals in the world: rhinos and pangolins. During this hands-on experience, you’ll participate in dehorning and collaring rhinos, gaining valuable practical skills in darting techniques, and working alongside an experienced wildlife veterinarian with over 30 years in the field. You’ll take part in game capture operations, and see the fascinating variety of work that a wildlife vet is included in. Then, head to a conservancy to learn about the challenges facing pangolins, from poaching to habitat loss. Join expert trackers in the field, mastering telemetry, bush tracking, and identifying signs of wildlife activity. The adventure culminates with a thrilling full-day game drive through Namibia’s famous Etosha National Park, where you’ll witness the stunning beauty of the African wilderness and its diverse wildlife.

Travel towards the Nyae Nyae Conservancy, your home base for everything pangolin

Learn the art of tracking, bush skills and of their cultural from the local San Bushmen. Assist in camera trapping and VHF telemetry

See the best in the tracking game as you follow pangolin trackers as they gather data on these elusive creatures. Please note, the pangolin work is hands off due to the sensitivity of this specieis
